Activities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The session began with an introduction to space fermentation technology, which is seen as crucial for sustainable food production in space. This was followed by a demonstration of IDDK\u2019s semiconductor-based Micro Imaging Device (MID) and a workshop on automating space lab experiments and applying MID in fermentation. Participants engaged in hands-on MID operation, exploring experimental possibilities in space.<\/p>\n\n<h3><strong>3. Outcomes and Future Outlook<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This event marked a significant step toward promoting space life sciences research in the Asia-Pacific region.
