About “JAPAN STARTUPS”
The Startup Support Division of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) has launched “JAPAN STARTUPS,” a website that introduces startup ecosystem cities1 and startups in Japan that will attract attention in the future to overseas companies and investors. The purpose of this website is to support the global expansion of Japanese startups and promote local ecosystems to the world. In order to introduce attractive Japanese companies to overseas companies and investors, the site reflects the results of surveys and analysis of perceptions of Japanese tartups overseas, in collaboration with FORSTARTUPS Co., Ltd. In addition, for the opening of the new site, 69 companies from among those participating in the “Startup City Acceleration Program2” conducted by JETRO are introduced.
